Best AEO and GEO Agencies in Australia (2026): 7 Compared

Last updated:

The best AEO and GEO agencies in Australia are the ones that can show you, on their own pages, how they make a business easy for ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Perplexity and Gemini to find, understand and name. Our seven picks for 2026, each with a one-line “best for”:

  1. Titan Blue Australia (Gold Coast): best for businesses that want the website and the answer-engine work built together.
  2. Rocket Agency (Sydney and Melbourne): best for larger organisations that want AEO alongside a bigger SEO, paid media and creative team.
  3. ClickedOn (North Sydney): best for brands that want a GEO programme tracked in software the agency built itself.
  4. Ziff Digital (Perth): best for businesses wanting a specialist GEO and SEO team serving clients across Australia.
  5. ONETOO (Melbourne): best for founder-led brands that want a small studio focused on answer engines.
  6. GEOPT (Melbourne): best for businesses that want visibility measured against a fixed prompt set every month.
  7. Prosperity Media (Sydney and Melbourne): best for businesses that want AEO inside an established SEO and digital PR agency.

If you came here asking “who can help my business show up in ChatGPT?”, the short version is: pick the agency whose own page explains its method in plain language, shows structured data and measurement, and is honest about what it cannot guarantee. The rest of this guide shows how we checked that, what each agency’s page actually said, and how to choose.

Disclosure: Titan Blue is on this list and we put ourselves first, because it is our website. We have tried to be fair anyway. Every statement about another agency comes from its own page, which we fetched on 16 October 2026 using an ordinary browser User-Agent. We quote rather than paraphrase their claims, we do not link to competitors, and we do not publish anyone’s pricing, including ours.

Key takeaways

  • AEO (answer engine optimisation) and GEO (generative engine optimisation) overlap heavily. Agencies use the two labels for largely the same work: making a business clear, consistent and citable.
  • Google’s own documentation says there are no additional requirements to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode, so any agency promising a secret trick deserves a hard question.
  • In our snapshot of seven pages, five carried FAQ markup, five carried Service markup (not always the same five), and one had no JSON-LD in its raw HTML at all.
  • The best way to test an agency is to read its own AEO page the way an AI engine would: one clear H1, plain answers, structured data and descriptions on images.

Watch the 31-second version: what we found on seven AEO and GEO agency pages. Video by Titan Blue.

How did we choose and compare these best AEO agencies in Australia?

We chose agencies by one rule: an Australian agency whose own website has a dedicated AEO or GEO page that loads, so claims can be read and checked. We ran two live web searches on 16 October 2026, one for AEO agencies and one for GEO agencies in Australia, and read the pages that came back. That is a live search index, two queries, one day. It is not a ranking of quality, and position in a results list is not merit.

We then fetched each candidate page with a browser User-Agent and kept the ones that loaded cleanly. We left out several kinds of result:

  • Directories and “best of” roundups, because they are not agencies.
  • Pages that returned a block (HTTP 403) or an unrelated page, because a failed fetch is inconclusive and we will not guess what they say.
  • Agencies without a dedicated AEO or GEO page, because there was nothing of theirs to check.
  • Overseas agencies, since this guide is for Australian businesses.

More than six agencies met the rule, so this is a selection, not a census. Other capable agencies exist that we did not read. We also did not interview anyone or review client results, and we do not claim to know how well any agency performs for its clients. What we can show is what each page says, and what its raw HTML contains.

How do the seven agencies compare at a glance?

This table gives the base, the best-fit client and one verifiable fact from each agency’s own page. Bases are taken from each site’s own contact details or structured data.

1. Titan Blue Australia: best for building the website and the answer-engine work together

Titan Blue is a Gold Coast digital agency, founded in 2001 by Richie and Angela Zengoski and based at Suite 140, 10 Albert Avenue, Broadbeach. We build websites and then make them readable to the engines that now answer buying questions. Our AEO services and GEO services pages explain the method, and our guide to how Australian businesses get recommended by ChatGPT and Google AI Mode covers the thinking behind it.

Where it fits best

Titan Blue fits Gold Coast, Brisbane and national businesses that need a new or improved site and want AI readiness designed into it, not added afterwards. That includes trades, clinics, hospitality, professional services and ecommerce on WordPress, WooCommerce and Elementor.

What stands out

The AEO work and the build sit in one team. Our own AEO services page, which we audited alongside the others, has a single H1, a tap-to-call link, FAQ markup with 8 questions, Service markup and 39 images with descriptions on all of them. Our AEO web design guide sets out the same approach for site structure.

The trade-off

We are a boutique agency, not a 50-person national one, and we put Gold Coast and Queensland clients first. We are also not yet the name Google AI Mode reaches for. In our own weekly tracking on 11 October 2026, 11 prompts returned a usable Google AI Mode answer. Titan Blue was named in 2 of them, one for an ecommerce designer prompt and one for a prompt that asked about us by name, and our site was cited in none. For “best AEO agency Australia” and “generative engine optimisation agency Australia” we were not named. A further 13 attempts returned no usable answer. That is a small sample, but it is why we are practising what we preach rather than claiming a result.

2. Rocket Agency: best for larger organisations that want AEO alongside broader channels

Rocket’s page is titled “Leading AEO Agency in Australia | Optimise for Answer Engines” and its H1 is “AI AEO Agency”. The page says its team is “over 50 digital pros” and lists a Sydney office in Surry Hills, with a Melbourne address in its structured data.

Where it fits best

It suits organisations that want AEO delivered next to SEO, paid media and creative from one supplier. The site navigation lists SEO, GEO, local and technical SEO, paid channels, branding, website design and CRO alongside the AEO service.

What stands out

The page is long, at about 3,000 words, with 9 H2s and FAQ markup carrying 4 questions. It mentions ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, AI Overviews and AI Mode by name, which gives a reader a clear picture of which surfaces it works on.

The trade-off

Larger agencies can mean a more layered team, so ask who will actually do your AEO work week to week. On the page we audited, 64 of 264 images did not have a non-empty description in the raw HTML, which is worth raising if image text is a priority for you.

3. ClickedOn: best for brands that want GEO tracked in software the agency built

ClickedOn’s page describes itself as “a GEO agency based in North Sydney, working with brands across Australia”, and says “we build and run our own AI visibility software, including the free GEO readiness checker on this site”. The H1 is “The GEO agency that gets your brand cited by AI”.

Where it fits best

It fits brands that want reporting driven by an agency-owned tool and are comfortable with a programme framed around GEO and large-language-model visibility. The page lists ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Copilot and Google AI Overviews as the surfaces it tracks.

What stands out

It was the most structured page in our sample on the markup side: FAQ markup with 15 questions, Service markup, and an Organization block. It also states “in-house developers” and that “clients stay 4+ years on average”, both of which are the agency’s own claims, which we have not verified.

The trade-off

A software-led approach is only as useful as what happens after the report. Ask how findings turn into changes on your actual website and who makes them. On the audited page, 5 of 29 images lacked a non-empty description.

4. Ziff Digital: best for a specialist GEO and SEO team serving clients Australia-wide

Ziff Digital’s page calls the business “a specialist GEO agency in Australia” that helps brands appear in ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini and Perplexity. Its structured data lists a Perth, WA address and an area served of Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide.

Where it fits best

It suits businesses that want a GEO-led engagement combined with conventional SEO, and do not need an agency in their own city. The page lists “combined GEO and SEO for maximum search visibility” and “dedicated GEO specialists focused on measurable results” among its promises.

What stands out

The markup is thorough: FAQ markup with 9 questions, Service, Organization, breadcrumb and speakable blocks, and all 61 images on the page had a description in the raw HTML.

The trade-off

We found no tap-to-call link on the page, only “Get Started” and “View Our Work” buttons, so a business that prefers to ring first should ask how to reach a person quickly. Ask also how its GEO recommendations are applied to your site build.

5. ONETOO: best for founder-led brands that want a small answer-engine studio

ONETOO’s page states “We are an AEO agency based in Melbourne specialising in Answer Engine Optimisation”, and describes itself as an AEO and GEO agency in Melbourne working across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini and Claude. The page says “Trusted by 100+ Founders” and carries founder testimonials.

Where it fits best

It suits founder-led and ecommerce-leaning brands that want a close working relationship with a small team. Shopify appears on the page, which hints at that audience, though the page does not say it only serves one platform.

What stands out

The page is compact, at about 2,300 words, with a single H1, a tap-to-call link, Service and ProfessionalService markup, and descriptions on all 34 images.

The trade-off

The raw HTML had no FAQ markup and only 4 H2s, so there is less on the page to assess the method. Ask for a written outline of what the first 90 days of work involves and how results are measured.

6. GEOPT: best for businesses that want measurement against a fixed prompt set

GEOPT’s page says “GEOPT does the structural work that puts your business among them, then measures the result against a fixed prompt set every month”, and “GEOPT is run out of Melbourne and works right across Australia”. It lists ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews, Gemini and Copilot as the places it tracks.

Where it fits best

It suits businesses that care about measurement and want a repeatable monthly report. A fixed prompt set is a sensible way to compare month to month, as long as the prompts reflect how your customers actually ask.

What stands out

The page includes FAQ markup with 7 questions, Service and Organization blocks, and a sample citation monitor. The agency also publishes city-by-city pages, which we did not audit.

The trade-off

The page we audited is the agency’s homepage, where its GEO service lives, so it is shorter at about 1,750 words and not a like-for-like comparison with a deep service page. On it, 5 of 12 images lacked a non-empty description. Ask who writes and edits content on your site, since the page focuses on structure and measurement.

7. Prosperity Media: best for AEO inside an established SEO and digital PR agency

Prosperity Media’s page says “People are already asking AI for answers about your industry. Prosperity Media’s AEO services ensure your brand shows up first.” Its footer lists a Sydney office in Surry Hills and a Melbourne office in South Yarra. Its navigation lists link building, digital PR, enterprise SEO and several industry SEO services.

Where it fits best

It suits businesses already thinking about authority and mentions beyond their own site, because digital PR and link building sit in the same agency as the AEO service.

What stands out

The page names ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude and presents a testimonial attributed to a HubSpot executive.

The trade-off

In our raw HTML fetch, the page had two H1 tags and no JSON-LD blocks, and 30 of 39 images lacked a non-empty description. Structured data added by scripts after the page loads would not show in this kind of fetch, so it is a question to ask rather than a finding. Ask how the agency handles schema and image text in client builds.

What did we find when we read each agency’s own AEO page?

The pages differ most on structured data, tap-to-call links and image descriptions. We fetched the seven pages on 16 October 2026 and counted features in the raw HTML. This is a snapshot, not a rating: it shows how readable the page is to a simple fetch, not how well the agency delivers for clients.

Agency page Words H1 count Tap-to-call link FAQ markup (questions) Service markup Images without a non-empty description
Titan Blue 3,690 1 Yes Yes (8) Yes 0 of 39
Rocket Agency 3,038 1 Yes Yes (4) No 64 of 264
ClickedOn 3,669 1 Yes Yes (15) Yes 5 of 29
Ziff Digital 2,878 1 No Yes (9) Yes 0 of 61
ONETOO 2,313 1 Yes No Yes 0 of 34
GEOPT (homepage) 1,753 1 Yes Yes (7) Yes 5 of 12
Prosperity Media 1,715 2 Yes No No 30 of 39

The counts, from the script output: 6 of 7 pages had exactly one H1, 6 of 7 had a tap-to-call link, 5 of 7 carried FAQ markup, 5 of 7 carried Service markup, and 1 of 7 had no JSON-LD in its raw HTML. Four of the seven had at least one image without a non-empty description in the raw HTML, and three had none.

The honest reading is that this group is already doing the basics reasonably well, which is what you would hope from agencies selling answer-engine work. The differences are small and the sample is seven pages from one day. Word count alone proves nothing, and a fetch cannot see scripts that run later. Treat it as a way to ask better questions.

What is the difference between AEO and GEO, and does it matter when you hire?

AEO is optimising so that answer engines give your business as the answer, and GEO is optimising so that generative engines include and cite you in what they write. In practice the day-to-day work overlaps almost completely, so the label on an agency’s page matters less than the method behind it.

Both depend on the same foundations: clear pages, consistent business details, trustworthy mentions elsewhere and structured data that matches what is visible. Our AEO services and GEO services pages describe where the emphasis differs. The key point for a buyer is to ask which surfaces the agency measures, since ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Mode all behave differently.

Choose by asking questions that force a specific answer. An agency that does real work can answer these in plain language, and one that cannot will reach for jargon. Use this table in a first call.

Question to ask Why it matters What a good answer sounds like
What will you change on my website, and who makes the changes? Advice without implementation stalls A named list of page, content and markup changes with an owner for each
Which AI surfaces do you measure, and how? Each engine behaves differently Named surfaces, a defined prompt set and a repeatable method
How do you report a result you cannot control? No one controls what an engine says Honest ranges and trends, never a guarantee
How does my Google Business Profile fit in? Local answers draw on profile data A plan for accuracy and consistency across profile and site
What do you do about reviews and mentions elsewhere? Engines weigh outside signals A practical approach to reviews, citations and local mentions
What is not included? Scope creep and surprises A clear boundary between AEO work and general SEO or design

Also ask to see an example of the agency’s own page on the topic, as we have done here. If the agency’s own site is hard to read, that is information.

Should you hire a specialist AEO agency or a full-service agency?

A specialist is a good choice when your website is already sound and you want deeper measurement and strategy, and a full-service agency is better when the site itself needs to change. Answer-engine work touches content, structure, markup and the build, so splitting it across suppliers adds hand-offs.

  • Specialist AEO or GEO agency: strong measurement and focus, but you may need a separate supplier to make site changes.
  • Full-service digital agency: one team can change the site, content and campaigns, but AEO may be one of many services.
  • Web design agency with AEO built in: the site is built to be readable from day one. This is the Titan Blue model, and it is a trade-off against a narrower, deeper specialist.

Whichever you choose, check who will be doing the work and how they will be held to a plan.

What does Google actually say about appearing in AI answers?

Google says the best practices for SEO remain relevant for AI features such as AI Overviews and AI Mode, and that there are no additional requirements to appear in them. This is from Google’s AI features documentation, which we opened on 16 October 2026. It matters because it sets the ceiling for what any agency can legitimately promise.

Site owners also now have a control. Google’s Search Console help describes a Search generative AI control that lets a site manage its inclusion in AI Overviews, AI Mode and generative features in Discover, and says it has been rolled out to all websites worldwide as of 31 August 2026. A good agency should be able to explain that control and whether it applies to you.

For structured data, the shared vocabulary lives at schema.org. Types such as Service and Organization describe what a business does and who it is. Markup helps machines understand a page, but it must match what visitors can see, and it is not a guarantee of any result. Our guide to schema markup in website design explains how we apply it.

How does AI search change what you should ask an agency for?

AI search changes the brief from “rank for a keyword” to “be the clear, consistent source that gets named when someone asks a question”. That means your site, your profiles and your reputation all need to tell the same story.

In practice, the work an agency does for you should include these pieces:

  1. Answer-first pages. Each service page leads with a direct answer in the first 100 words, then expands.
  2. Clear entity details. Name, address, phone, service area and suburbs such as Broadbeach, Southport, Burleigh Heads, Robina and Coolangatta are stated plainly and consistently.
  3. Matching structured data. JSON-LD that reflects what is on the page, with a real business type from schema.org.
  4. Fast, accessible pages. Descriptions on images, readable text and sensible load times. web.dev’s guidance on Largest Contentful Paint explains how to measure the main content load.
  5. Measurement. A defined set of questions asked on a schedule, with results reported honestly, including when you are not mentioned.

This is the thesis behind our AEO web design guide: a beautiful website is not enough if an AI engine cannot find, understand and recommend it. You can also run our free AI Ready Check to see how your own site reads today.

What should any good AEO engagement include?

A good engagement includes an audit, a prioritised plan, implementation on your site and monthly measurement. If a proposal skips one of those, ask why.

  • A baseline audit of your pages, markup, business profile and current mentions in AI answers.
  • A written plan that ranks changes by likely impact and effort.
  • Hands-on changes to content, structure and markup, or a clear hand-off to whoever will make them.
  • Ongoing measurement with the method described, such as which prompts and which engines.
  • Plain reporting that separates what the agency did from what the engines did.

Our companion pages on AEO services and GEO services describe how we structure this at Titan Blue.

What are the red flags when hiring an AEO or GEO agency?

The biggest red flags are guaranteed placements, secret methods and statistics that are not sourced. Nobody controls what ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or Google AI Mode says, and the engines change often.

  • A guaranteed mention or ranking in an AI answer. It cannot be guaranteed.
  • A proprietary trick with no explanation. Google’s documentation describes no special optimisation.
  • Unsourced market claims about how many people use AI search. Ask where the number came from.
  • No description of how results are measured, or measurement on a single query on a single day.
  • An agency whose own pages are hard to read, with no clear heading, no business details and no structured data.
  • Vague scope, where it is unclear what is included, who does the work and how long it will take.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who are the best AEO agencies in Australia in 2026?

From our reading of their own pages, Titan Blue Australia, Rocket Agency, ClickedOn, Ziff Digital, ONETOO, GEOPT and Prosperity Media all publish a dedicated AEO or GEO page. This is a selection from one day of searching and not a ranking. Compare them on method, measurement and who does the work.

Which GEO agency in Australia should I choose?

Choose the one that can explain, in plain language, what it will change on your site, which AI engines it measures and how it reports results honestly. Ask to see the agency’s own AEO or GEO page and judge how readable it is.

Who can help my business show up in ChatGPT?

An AEO or GEO agency, or a web design agency with AEO built in, can improve how clearly your business is described and how consistent it is across your site and profiles. No one can guarantee that ChatGPT will name you, because the engine decides what to say.

What is the difference between AEO and GEO?

AEO focuses on being the answer an engine gives, and GEO focuses on being included and cited in generated responses. In practice the work overlaps and many agencies use both terms. What matters is the method, not the label.

Does Google have special requirements for AI Overviews and AI Mode?

According to Google’s AI features documentation, there are no additional requirements to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode, and standard SEO best practices still apply. Be cautious of anyone claiming a special technique.

Do I need a Gold Coast agency, or can I use one from another city?

You can work with an agency anywhere in Australia, since AEO work is mostly delivered online. A local agency helps if you want in-person meetings and local knowledge of suburbs like Broadbeach, Southport or Burleigh Heads. Titan Blue is based in Broadbeach.

How long does AEO take to show results?

It depends on your starting point, the competition and how much of the work involves changing the site. Expect changes to be visible in your pages first and in AI answers later, and be sceptical of a promise of a specific date. Measure on a schedule and look at trends, not single results.
